The 国际倡议办公室 helps 蓝色的field State University to realize its 任务 of preparing “students for diverse professions…informed citizenship, 社区参与, and public service in an ever-changing global society” and its 愿景 by “embracing the diversity that shapes our world.”
The 国际倡议办公室 is responsible for 招收国际学生, 集成, and Retention and Internationalizing the university’s Curriculum

Recruits international students through WV HEPC’s StudyWV portal, BSU的国际学生英语课程, 和美国教育中心全球办事处
Provides logistical support for international students’ participation in campus and off-campus events and experiences – welcome reception, 联合国日庆祝活动, cultural immersion trips within West Virginia and surrounding states, 社区参与, 以及公共服务活动
Updates the online 国际学生 Handbook annually
Provides academic advising and guidance to international students relating to academic matters

机会需要. The university shall require each student receiving a bachelor’s degree to have received an introduction to one or more international cultures through an appropriate curricular, 课外或课外的机会.

1.B. The institution’s mission demonstrates commitment to the public good.

3.B.3: The education offered by the institution recognizes the human and cultural diversity and provides students with growth opportunities and lifelong skills to live and work in a multicultural world.
